Disclaimer and indemnity
I, and on behalf of the team (if applicable), wish to enter as an individual /a team to participate in the “Pink Run.HK 2024” (the Event). I /We jointly and severally confirm and agree that I /we shall comply with all relevant rules, regulations, arrangements, and /or decisions made by Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (the Organizer). I /We take part in this event entirely at my /our own risks and that I /we shall not hold the Organizer, the co-organizer, any sponsors and /or supporting organizations responsible for any accident of whatever kind for any reason, resulting in death or injury, and /or for any damage to, loss or destruction of personal properties during the course of the Event. I /We shall also agree to indemnify or reimburse the Organizer with respect to any additional expenses or costs incurred by the Organizer arising from or in connection with my /our participation in the Event.

Terms and Conditions

• This event is organized by the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry and coordinated and executed by Eastern Plan.
• Registration must be completed on or before 12:00nn (HKT), 18 February, 2024. Late application will not be accepted.
• If the participants provide incorrect information, fail to submit application form or pay for the fee on time or fail to follow the enrollment procedure, the the Organizer reserves the right to reject their application. Once the application is submitted, no request for refund, return for duplicated fees, transfer and cancellation of the enrollment will be entertained.
• The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse any enrollment.
• The Organizer reserves the right to contact participants for information regarding their enrollment.
• The Organizer reserves the right to close the enrolment any time without prior notification.
• Participants must wear the official bib for the race. Otherwise, they will be disqualified by the Organizer.
• If there is adverse weather or Amber/Red/Black Rainstorm Signal, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above being hoisted and not lowered at 6:00am on the event date, the event will be cancelled . The enrollment fee and sponsorship will be treated as a donation and not be refunded. • Safety is a top priority for participating in the event. Participants must follow the instructions of the staff, maintain order on the race track, and avoid injuring themselves or other participants.
• The course is shared with other vehicles. Please be aware of the road conditions, and follow traffic rules, obey all other rules, warnings, and decisions of the Organizer relating to the participants’ ability to safely participate the Event.
• The Organizer will provide the third-party liability insurance coverage for the event. Participants are advised to consider purchasing personal accident insurance to cover any potential accidents or injuries. The Organizer is not responsible for participants‘ personal insurance coverage.
• Participants should assess their own health conditions, including physical and mental states, as well as any personal medical history, to determine if they are suitable to participate in the Event. The Organizer does not evaluate participants‘ health conditions and is not responsible for any adverse effects or consequences on participants‘ health resulting from participating in the Event. Participants must assume any health risks and consequences associated with participating in the Event. If necessary, participants may consider to consult with a doctor or healthcare professional and make informed decisions based on their individual circumstances before participating.
• The baggage storage area is only for temporary storage of personal belongings. Do not store valuable items in the baggage storage area. The Organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage of items in the baggage storage area.
• In the event that the Organizer incurs additional expenses due to deliberate sabotage by a participant during the Event, the participant will be held responsible for reasonable compensation.
• The Organizer has the right to use participants‘ photos, videos, recordings, and other related materials for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to official websites, social media platforms, newspapers, magazines, promotional materials, advertisements, and other promotional channels.
• The Organizer will send an email to all completed participants to confirm their completion of the Event on or before 15 March, 2024. Disputes or appeals regarding the results must be submitted by email to enquiry@pinkrun.hkon or before 20 March, 2024.
• The Organizer reserves the right not to entertain any disputes submitted after 20 March, 2024.
• The Organizer will make announcements on the changes in the arrangement or regulations of the event, if any without prior notice. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Organizer will be final.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION STATEMENT

• The information you provided (including name, telephone number, email address and etc) will be used by Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry for fund-raising and event promotion. If you do not wish your personal information be used for the abovementioned purposes, please email enquiry@pinkrun.hk, with the title of "Unsubscribe" or ”取消訂閱”.
• Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your permission, unless compelled to do so by any judicial request, requirement or court order.
